The CDCFIB has officially has officially released the list of successfully candidates for the 2025 recruitment exercise. The CDCFIB Shortlisted Candidates released on 30th October, 2025 for the computer based test (CBT).

The CDCFIB  released the list of successfully candidates for the Computer Based Test (CBT).

Applicants who earlier applied for various position into any of the four (4) Services would be required to visit the Board portal to check if they are successful to take part in the Computer Based Test (CBT) as well as the designated centre and time where it would be holding.

The computer based test (CBT) has been scheduled to take place for shortlisted candidates across the 36 States Plus FCT.

About CDCFIB 2025 Recruitment Exercise

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) is responsible for overseeing the recruitment and management of four key paramilitary agencies under the Federal Ministry of Interior. These include the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigerian Correctional Service, the Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Immigration Service.

The 2025 CDCFIB Recruitment Exercise aims to strengthen the capacity of these agencies by recruiting qualified Nigerians who meet the eligibility criteria.

The application process is conducted in a transparent and merit based manner, ensuring that only qualified candidates are selected to serve the nation.

Applicants who successfully passed the screening of applications stage are now being invited for the next stage of the application process, the next stage is Computer Based Test (CBT), which is an essential stage in the application selection process.

CDCFIB 2025 Recruitment Exercise

The CDCFIB 2025 recruitment exercise is part of eh federal government plan to provide employment opportunities for Nigerians and serve the national securities operations. The recruitment normally includes the following stages:

Stage 1: Submit and application form with attached required documents.

Stage 2: Screening/reviewing of all applications submitted by the interested Nigerians.

Stage 3: Shortlisted qualified candidates for computer based test.

Stage 4: Shortlisted Candidates will take Computer Based Test (CBT) as scheduled by the CDCFIB. Shortlisted Candidates must passed the computer based test and the CDCFIB will contacted them for the physical and medical screening.

Stage 5: Physical screening and Medical Check up, all Shortlisted Candidates who passed the computer based test are to participate in the physical screening and medical check up conducted by the CDCFIB.

Stage 6: Final selection of those who passed all the above stages (Stage 1-5) and invited them for the training into designated centers. All is depends on the position you applied for (Superintendent cadre, Inspectorate cadre, Assistant Inspectorate cadre)

NB: Only candidates who meet the set criteria will proceed to the next stage after the CBT.

CDCFIB Shortlisted Candidates for Computer Based Test (CBT) Breakdown 

The CDCFIB has officially announced the released of the shortlisted candidates who is eligible to participate in the Computer Based Test (CBT).

The Computer Based Test CBT is designed to assess candidates knowledge, aptitude, and suitability for the specific role they applied for within the various services.

Shortlist Date Shortlist to be released from Monday 27th October to Friday 31th October, 2025
Test Type Computer Based Test (CBT)
Test Date To be announced via the official CDCFIB portal and candidates registered emails
Test Venue The Specified testing centres nationwide (as indicated on candidates CBT invitation slips)
Test Requirements Candidates must come along with their acknowledgment slips, valid ID cards, and CBT invitation letters
Test Results The test results list will be out after the conducted of the CBT
Final Selection After CBT results is out, Candidates who passed all the stages will be invited for the training into designated centers.

Requirements for CDCFIB Computer Based Test (CBT)

To participate in the CDCFIB CBT, shortlisted candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Printout of Application Confirmation Slip: This serves as proof of registration.

2. CBT Invitation Letter: Sent to shortlisted candidates via email or available on the portal.

3. Valid Identification: Such as National ID, Voters Card, Drivers License, or International Passport.

4. Writing Materials: Although the test is computer based, a pen and small notepad may be needed for quick notes.

NB: Candidates should ensure they arrive at their respective test venues at least one hour before the scheduled time.

To check whether you have been shortlisted for the 2025 CDCFIB Computer Based Test (CBT), follow the steps below:

1. Visit the official CDCFIB recruitment portal via CDCFIB Recruitment Portal 

2. Click on Check Shortlist or View Application Status.

3. Enter your application email and reference number.

4. Click Submit to view your status.

5. If shortlisted, download and print your CBT invitation slip, which contains your test date, time, and venue.
