NCDMB Oil & Gas Field Readiness Training Program 

Are you ready for Opportunities in the oil and gas industry?

The NCDMB is empowering Nigerian youth through specialized training on the top 10 most in demand oil and gas skills, to enable them to access and create jobs in the new projects being implemented in the Nigerian oil and gas industry as per the directives of President Bola Tinubu in the sector.

The Nigerian Content Development Board (NCDMB) has launched a special Human Capital Development (HCD) programme that will train over 10,000 young graduates and professionals in 10 skills needed in the sector.

This program is open only to participants who are not more than 35 years of age, who have OND/NCE, HND/BSC in Chemical, Civil, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical, Engineering, Gas, Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum, and Welding and Metallurgy.

Trainees who complete the program and are assessed as proficient and field-ready will be included in the agency talent database for distribution to services and operating companies to fulfill the NOGICD law.

Individuals can only select a maximum of three specializations under the program in their preferred order of preference.

• Geoscience Engineering
• Helicopter Piloting 
• Marine Operations
• Production & Maintenance Engineering 
• QA/QC Engineering -NDT 1-3
• Sub-Sea Engineering
• Underwater Welding Engineering 

NCDMB Oil &,Gas Field Readiness Training Program Eligibility Criteria 

• Must be a young citizen of Nigeria.
• Must posseses NCE/ND or HND/BSC.
• Must be an 18 years and not more than 35 years of age.
• Must be in any one of the following fields of study; Chemical, Civil, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical, Engineering, Gas, Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum or Welding and Metallurgy

NCDMB Oil &,Gas Field Readiness Training Program Four (4) key components

The program comprised four key components:

1. Classroom training

2. laboratory/workshop practicals

3. On the job skills, which will result in a minimum of six months of on-the-job training (OJT)

4. Skills certifications

2. Update your profile and academic information.

3. Proceed to complete your registration for the training program.

3. For Applicants with Completed Profiles:

1. Simply log in to your account.

2. Continue with the registration for the NCDMB Oil and Gas Field Readiness Training Programme.
