The national Health Fellows Programme is scheduled to spend at last 12 months and offers participants with training, fieldwork and mentorship.

The Selected fellows will gain hands on experience through training, mentorship and practical assignments within the health sector.

The program is designed to build capacity, enhance professional skills and prepare participants for leadership roles in public health and related fields.

National Health Fellows Programme Eligibility Requirements

To to eligible for the NHF Programme, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Educational Qualification

A Bachelors degree in Health, Information Technology, Social Sciences, or a closely related discipline.

2. Age Requirement

Candidates must be between 25-35 years.

3. Professional Experience

Demonstrated experience in public health, NGO work, or community development projects, with evidence of leadership and innovation.

4. Availability

Must be ready to commit full-time throughout the duration of the fellowship.

5. Residency Status

Applicants must be indigenous residents of the state in which they are applying.

6. Technology Requirement

Must own a smartphone with an active data plan for digital communication and program participation.

7. Key Skills

Possession of strong analytical thinking and entrepreneurial capabilities.

8. Recommendation Letter

A valid endorsement from a recognized academic or professional institution highlighting the applicant’s character and leadership qualities.

NHF Fellowship Selection Process

1. Submission of Application: Interested candidates must complete the online application form, providing all necessary details and documents

2. Interview & Screening: Shortlisted candidates will proceed to the next stage, which includes both physical and psychological interviews.
