The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTED) is a body that conducting an exams in Nigeria for registered secondary School students and private Candidates who are not registered as a regular students. National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTED) exams is conducted in Nigeria at secondary schools level to registered students in technical, business, and vocational education.

NABTED exams It provides opportunities for students to obtain certificates in trade and craft areas. NABTEB exams are equivalent to other secondary education certificates like WAEC and NECO but it focuses on technical and vocational subjects only.

NABTED is a body under ministry of education in Nigeria. This body is responsible for conducting the exams for secondary school students who are in technical and vocational educations.

Types Of NABTED Exam

NABTED Exam are typically divided into six ( 6) category. The types of NABTED were listed below:

NABTEB May/June exam

This type of Exam is conducted for School certificate examination (SCE) taken by Secondary School students each year. This exam it is the major examination for secondary school students in their final year and is open only to candidates enrolled in secondary School. NABTED May/June Exam is conducted towards a candidates seeking to gain admission into tertiary Institutions across Nigeria.

NABTEB Nov/Dec exam

This type of exam is conducted for private candidates in November/December. This exam is for private candidates who are not enrolled in secondary schools as the regular school system or missed the May/June exam. This type of NABTED Exam It allows private candidates to obtain the NABTEB certificate, which is more recognized for both academic and professional purposes.

NABTEB Modular (March) exam

The NABTEB Modular examination conducted in March is designed for candidates who want to write specific modules or parts of NABTEB’s syllabus. This exam It focuses on trade and technical subjects, also it allows students to complete individual components that contribute to a full qualification.

NABTEB Modular (June) exam

This type of exam is similar to the “March Modular” exam, the June modular exam offers an opportunity for candidates to take specific subject modules. These exams are applicable and cater to students who are pursuing their vocational training in a structured, phased manner.

NABTEB Modular (Dec) exam

NABTEB Modular (December) exam, is taken in December each year.This modular exam it provides an additional opportunity for candidates to sit for specific modules they may have missed or need to retake it. These modular exams are crucial which helpful for students working to complete their NABTEB requirements progressively.

NABTEB GCE (AL-evel) exam

This type of exam is an advanced level examination conducted that prepares candidates for university education. This exam its is similar to other A-Level exams and is usually taken by students who seeking to gain admission as direct entry into tertiary institutions, this exam can be use to gain admission both within Nigeria and outside Nigeria.

How To Check NABTED 2025/2026 Result Online

To candidate who wrote NABTED 2025/2026 exam and looking for how to check his/her result can use the simple steps to check your NABTED 2025/2026 Result Online by visiting the NABTEB Result Checker official Portal at https://eworld.nabteb.gov.ng/. Simple steps to follow in oder check your NABTED result online successfully:

Step 1: Visit Google Search Engine and or Open your Browser ( E.g Chrome, Phoenix etc) on your Smartphone or Computer.

Step 2: Search NABTED result checker official Portal (https://eworld.nabteb.gov.ng/.)

Step 3: Input your Examination Number (e.g 648588546846).

Step 4: Choose your Examination type (e.g May/June Exam, Nov/Dec Exam, Modular March , Modular June, Modular December and or GCE AL-evel ).

Step 5: Input your Examination year (e.g 2025, 2026 etc).

Step 6: Input your Card Serial Number (e.g N5234664478)

Step 7: Input your PIN (Personal Identification Number) 12 digits (e.g 24365754778)

Step 8: Input your Email Address ( this step is optionally, you can input your email address if you want to receive your result via email address).

Step 9: Click on the “SUBMIT” to Check your NABTED result.

After a candidate filled the requires informations from step 1 to step 8. Your NABTED result will automatically display on the computer screen and or Smartphone screen, Its all depends on the type of Machine you prefer to use.

NB: IF you are using Computer or Smartphone to Check your NABTED result, make sure you have an updated browser before begins to check. Using outdated browser may not display an accurate informations and or it will take you to the home page and page, avoid you using outdated browsers to check your NABTED result. Candidate can use the second the method to check your NABTED 2025/2026 result. Below is the simplest steps to check your NABTED result using the SMS Method:

Step 1: Go to your Message App on your Smartphone when use to create a message.

Step 2: Click Create a New Message.

Step 3: Type your NABTED Exam Number, NABTED PIN, and Exam year, follows the instructions carefully!. follow the format: Type your NABTEB*ExamNo*PIN*ExamType*ExamYear

Step 5: Click Send Message to 32327

After a Candidate have Successfully sent a Message to NABTED Board for checking result, your NABTED result will be send to your Phone Number used when creating the message. Your NABTED result would be send to you as a PDF File which you can download it to Smartphone and visit any cape centres to Print the PDF File of your WAEC result.

NB: SMS Charges of N30 will be apply once you sent the message.
