The federal government of Nigeria has approved the Tazkiyah University Kaduna State. The Tazkiyah University is the first only female university in Nigeria, and it was established by the Professor Ibrahim Maqari.The Professor Ibrahim Maqari is the Chief Imam of the National Mosque, Abuja.
Tazkiyyah University, Kaduna, founded by Professor Ibrahim Makari, has officially launched its higher education institutions and programmes as it begins its academic activities. Tazkiyyah was established as an all female university, designed to empower women through quality education, innovative teaching, and quality training. Its campus is located on Chikaji Road Zaria, Kaduna State.
The Tazkiyah University was established in 2025 and located in Zaria Kaduna State.The university was established exclusively for women and is able to operate with all female academic staff, making it the first of it is kind across Nigeria.
Professor Ibrahim Maqari, he stated that all profits from the center will be channeled into a fund dedicated to supporting orphans.Tazkiyah is one of the nine (9) newly private universities approved by National University Commission (NUC), with plans to relocate its Main campus to Kaduna capital in the future.
