YEN Launches Petty Traders Grant Support Program
The youth empowerment Nigeria is accepting an applications from eligible petty traders across Nigeria for the financial support range between ₦10,000-₦100,000 to generate sustainable income of their business.
The youth empowerment Nigeria opens the grant application form between July, 2925 – August, 2025, and the the youth empowerment Nigeria reopened the grant application portal for December, 2025-January, 2025.
The grant application portal has opened on October 1st and will ends on December 19th, 2025. Petty traders who running their businesses in Nigeria can now submit their grant application form.
This grant programme was initiatives youth empowerment Nigeria (YEN) to offers program a seed capital of between ₦10,000 and ₦100,000 to support small business owners across Nigeria to create sustainability income. Unlike most money-making opportunities, there is no business registration required, and the process is simple, with minimal paperwork.
As long as you are a citizen of Nigeria or resident within the required age range of 18-55 years, you are eligible to apply.

Petty Traders Grant Application Eligibility Criteria
To to qualify for the grant program, you must:
- Be a citizen or resident of Nigerian aged between 18-55 years.
- Must be an entrepreneur or aspiring entrepreneur.
- Must own a business running in Nigeria or have an initiatives to innovate business.
- Must have an active National Identification Number-NIN
- Must have a verifiable residential address.
- Must fill out a minimum of one details contact.
- Must have active Bank account number.
- Must completed an online application form with required documents.

Method of Grant Application
To apply for petty traders grant program, follows the method of application below;
1. Register: Fill out your personal and business details via the youth empowerment Nigeria portal designed for petty traders grant support program.
2. Onboard: Fill out all the required application form, make sure that all the details are correct to avoid disqualification during the selection process.
3.Review Application: Preview your application details before submission of application, edit cannot be made once the application submitted.
4. Receive Grant Amount: Beneficiaries will receive an email of confirmation of their acknowledging that they have been selected for the grant Program, and the of names selected will be published on youth empowerment Nigeria portal.
NB:
- Grant Registration Opens: 1th October 2025
- Grant Application Closes: 19th December 2025.
- Disbursement of Grant to selected traders to commence from December, 2025 and round up on January, 2025.
- Avoid Multiple application which will lead disqualification from the verification process.
- Grant Disbursement Date: To Start from December,2025 and ends in January,2026
- Only Selected Petty Traders will be contacted via the official channels for this grant.
