Kwara Poly Requirements For Admission Into ND&HND Courses.

Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin Kwara State released requirements for admission into Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma (ND) For the 2025/2026 Academic Session. The requirements for admission is for both HND full time and HND part time, and ND full time and ND part time.

Requirements For Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes

• Candidates seeking for admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) programme, they will need to meets the requirements:
• Candidates must earned National Diploma (ND) first before eligible to gain admission into Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin and with a minimum of lower credit in relevant field.
• Candidates must have passed at five credits In O’Level results (NECO, WAEC , NEBTED etc includes Mathematics and English Language in not more than 2 settings exams.
• Candidates must have present an evidence of one year post National Diploma working experience that is Industrial one year training in any relevant course of study.
• Candidates who graduated with pass grade during their National Diploma, they will be required to spent two years Industrial training.
• Candidates who wishing to apply  Agricultural and Bio Environmental Engineering Technology they will need to have National Diploma Certificate in any one of the following: Agricultural and Bio Environmental Engineering Technology, Agricultural Technology, Food Science Technology,and or Agricultural Engineering Technology.
• Candidates who wishing to apply for Metallurgical Engineering Technology, they will need to possess  National Diploma (ND) in Metallurgical Engineering Technology only.
• Candidates who desire to apply for Mining Engineering Technology, they will need to possess National Diploma (ND) in Mineral Resources and or Mining Engineering Technology only.

NB:

• Candidates who obtained National Diploma in Computer Engineering are not considering for admission into Higher National Diploma (HND) in  Electrical & Electronics Engineering Technology and or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science Programmes.
• Candidates will not be  considered for admission into Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes, differ from those candidates who had in their National Diploma (ND) programmes.
• Candidates who is holders of National Diploma (ND) in Mass Communication will not be considered for admission into Higher National Diploma (HND) inPublic Administration.
• Candidates seeking admission into Full time Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes, they will need to fill the JAMB registration numbers for their National Diploma (ND) Programmers.
• Only Candidates with JAMB registration numbers would be considered for the admission.

Requirements For National Diploma (ND) Programmes

• Candidates seeking for admission into the Part time National Diploma (ND) programmes, they will need to meets the eligibility criteria:
• Candidates seeking admission into part time ND Programmes, they will need to have a Minimum aof 5 credits in O’Level results in a relevant subjects in WAEC, NECO or NEBTED etc, in not more than 2 settings includes Mathematics and English.
• Candidates Apply for Part time ND Programmes, they will required to enroll with JAMB through their official JAMB eFacility portal at https://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility/Login

How to Apply For Admission Into Kwana State Polytechnic Ilorin

To apply into Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin, you will need to fill the application form.The application form can be obtain online on the Kwara official portal for admission. To apply for Both HND Full time and Part time, and ND full time and Part time.

• Candidates Should log on to Kwara State Polytechnic official portal for admission at https://kwarastatepolytechnic.edu.ng and follow the application instructions promptly.
• Candidates should create an account using Full name, active email address and password
• Candidates should generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
• Candidates should make payment of ten thousand Naira (N10,000) as an application fees in any commercial banks and or alternatively, candidates can make payment through their ATM Card etc.

NB: Candidates with awaiting results are advised not to apply. All Candidates for both HND and ND are expected to upload their ND results  and O’Level results when necessary.
